Markos is the Managing Director and founder of the Markos Drakos Consultants Group.  He previously co-managed the Deloitte & Touche Nicosia Office, and following a reorganisation of Deloitte & Touche in Cyprus, he hived out the Consultancy and International Business division, and founded the Markos Drakos Consultants Group. Markos worked as a Manager with KPMG in Nicosia until he set up Touche Ross & Co in Cyprus. He studied Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science and then qualified as a chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales, trained with KPMG in the UK. Markos is also member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.

Andreas is the  Chief Executive Officer of the Company. He is a qualified chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales. Andreas was trained and worked for 12 years with KPMG in Nicosia, where he was Audit Principal and Assistant Head of Quality & Risk Management. He is a member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, and of The Cyprus Investment Funds Association, where he also served as Chairman of the Ethics and Risk Management Committee. Andreas studied Accounting at the University of Hull in the UK, and then pursued a Master’s degree in International Consultancy & Accounting at the University of Reading in the UK. He is also holder of CySEC Advanced Certification. 

Marilia is the Regulatory Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering Officer of the Company. Before joining the Company, she worked for 4 year at Safecap Investments Ltd at both the Trading and Compliance Departments, and a year at the Equity Derivatives Confirmation Department of Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK. Marilia studied Mathematics at the University of Manchester and then pursued a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance and Actuarial Science. She is also holder of the CySEC Advanced Certification.

Charalambos is the Head of Risk Management of the Company. Before joining the Company, he worked for 2 years at the Cyprus Development Bank Public Company Ltd (cdbbank) as a Treasury Officer. Charalambos studied Commerce, Finance and Shipping at the Cyprus University of Technology and then pursued a Master’s degree in Financial Services at the Cyprus International Institute of Management. Charalambos is a CFA Charterholder and a holder of CySEC Advanced Certification. He is also the Vice-Chairperson of the Statistics and Fund Research Committee of The Cyprus Investment Funds Association.

Silviya is an Independent Business Consultant specializing in value added tax and other tax matters. She started her professional career at KPMG in the UK in January 2005, where she successfully completed the examination requirements of the Association of Taxation Technicians, before moving to Cyprus in May 2007 to join KPMG in Nicosia. Silviya worked at KPMG Cyprus as a VAT Senior Manager until November 2014. Next, she joined the Stena Group in Cyprus, a large group of companies with businesses across various industries, including shipping, finance and holdings, as a Tax and Compliance Controller. Since October 2017, Silviya practices as a sole trader. She holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Economic Science degree with First Class Honours from the University of Manchester.

Michael is a co-founder and Managing Director at Progressus Audit, specializing in the audit of trading and financial services companies as well as international tax planning. Before that, Michael has been managing for 12 years the Internal Audit Department of the Group of Logicom Public Limited, being in charge of the audits of all local and international operations of the Group. He has also worked as Head of Tax at Nexia Poyiadjis, Head of Accounting at IFG Trust (Cyprus), and as a Manager in the Finance Department of MTN in Cyprus. Michael is a qualified certified chartered accountant, fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, and member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Cyprus. Michael was trained with KPMG in Nicosia and he studied Accounting and Finance at the London South Bank University. Michael is also non-executive director of Karyes Investments Public Ltd.

Michalis is a Portfolio Manager in the Company. Before joining the Company, he worked for 10 years in Santander Asset Management (London) as a Multi Asset Senior Portfolio Manager and UBS Investment Bank (London) as an Equity Research Analyst / Product Manager. Michalis also worked at Deloitte in Cyprus as a Private Wealth Advisor and various other hedge funds earlier in his career. Michalis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in International Economics, Banking and Finance from Cardiff University. He is a CFA Charterholder and holder of the CySEC Advanced Certification.

Omeros is a Portfolio Manager in the Company. Before joining the Company, he worked as a Portfolio Manager at Carne Group in Luxembourg and at eToro. Omeros also has experience in the Operational Due Diligence and Risk departments at Albourne Partners, as well as in the Operations department at AJK Wealth early in his career. Omeros holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from the University of Portsmouth and a Master’s degree in Financial Services from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. He is also a holder of the CySEC Advanced Certification.

Vasiliki is the Head of Backoffice & Client Services of the Company. Before joining the Company, she worked for 2.5 years at Blackrock as Trade Operations Analyst, and 1.5 years at State Street Bank and Trust as Global Services Operations Specialist, both roles in Scotland. Vasiliki has a degree in International European and Economic Studies from the University of Cyprus and a Master’s degree in Energy Studies with Specialisation in Oil and Gas Economics from the University of Dundee. She is also holder of CySEC Advanced Certification.

Christina is a Portfolio Manager in the Company. Prior to joining the Company, Christina worked as a client relationship and accounting assistant manager at Fiducitrust Services Limited, and as a Deals Advisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was involved in a variety of special projects, including financial due diligence, banking and corporate finance, across various industries. Christina is a qualified chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales and she is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. Christina holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol and she is also a holder of CySEC Advanced Certification.

Kyriacos is a Fund Administration Manager and Valuation Specialist in the Company. He is a qualified certified chartered accountant, fellow member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (FCCA), and member of the Institute of Certified Accountants of Cyprus. He is also a holder of CySEC Advanced Certification and CySEC AML Certification. He has accumulated valuable experience over 7 years working in a well-known Firms within Cyprus's accounting, tax, audit, and assurance sectors. In the last 3 years he worked as Compliance and Fund Administration Manager in Ledra Management Ltd. Kyriacos holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with specialisation in Accounting, from University of Cyprus.     

Ifigenia is a Compliance Officer in the Company. Ifigenia is a qualified lawyer from the Cyprus Bar Association. Before joining the Company, Ifigenia has worked for 1 year in the Compliance Department of Kedipes Asset Management, and before that for 7 years in the compliance and risk departments of Alpha Bank in Cyprus. Ifigenia studied Law at the University of Cyprus and then she pursued a Master’s Degree in Corporate and Financial Law at the University of Glasgow.

Nicolas is a finance graduate with a solid foundation in investment analysis and quantitative methods. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Econometrics from the University of Nottingham. Nicolas recently passed the CFA Level I exam and gained practical exposure to financial markets and financial modelling. His academic work focused on topics such as asset pricing, corporate finance and econometrics, providing him with a rigorous analytical background suited for roles in portfolio management and investment research. He is also a holder of CySEC Advanced Certification.
